Privacy Policy

This site collects as little as it can. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. Google Analytics and a third-party advertising network are the only outside parties involved, and this page explains what each of them does, what it sets, and how to opt out.
What we collect directly
Nothing that identifies you personally. There is no registration, no comment system that stores personal data, and no mailing list.
If you email a correction, we hold that email only for as long as it takes to act on it, and we do not add you to anything.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M1H7LFKM5G), provided by
Google LLC. It records page views, approximate location at country level, device and browser type,
and the referring source, and it sets its own first-party cookies (_ga and
_ga_*) to tell repeat visits from new ones. It is aggregate reporting rather than
individual tracking: we do not use it to build profiles of visitors, and we have not enabled Google
Signals or advertising personalisation on the property.
You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, with any tracker blocker, or by clearing and blocking cookies. How Google itself uses this data is described in Google's partner-sites notice. The site works fully without analytics; nothing on this wiki is gated behind it.
Advertising
This site displays third-party advertising to cover hosting costs. Ads are served by an external
advertising network from the domain profitableratecpmnetwork.com, which loads its own
script on every page.
Because the ad network is a separate company, it — and the demand partners it works with — can set cookies, read cookies it previously set, and use similar technologies such as local storage or device and browser characteristics. It also receives your IP address, user agent and the page you are on, as any server does when your browser requests a file from it. That data is used to select, cap and measure ads, and it is handled under the network's own privacy policy rather than ours. We do not pass it any information about you, because we hold none.
To limit ad-related tracking you can block cookies or use a content blocker, turn off ad personalisation in Google My Ad Center, or use the industry opt-out pages at YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices. Blocking ads does not restrict access to any page here.
Advertising has no influence on what we cover or what we say — that commitment is part of our editorial policy.
Embedded content
Some pages embed official trailers. Videos load only when you click the thumbnail, and they use the
privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain — so no video-platform request is made unless you
choose to watch.
Screenshots and other images are served from this site rather than from third parties, so browsing does not contact an image host on your behalf.
Children, transfers and changes
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this site, email us and we will delete it.
Data processed by analytics and advertising providers may be handled outside your country, including in the United States, under those providers' own terms. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our basis for analytics and advertising is legitimate interest in running and funding the site; you have the right to access, correct or erase data held about you and to object to its processing — for data held by Google or by the ad network, exercise those rights with them directly, since we cannot reach it. California residents: we do not sell personal information, and we receive no money for data — only for ad space.
If this policy changes materially, the change will be reflected on this page and its date updated.
Questions about privacy, or a request to have data removed, go to pam41320@gmail.com — the same address listed on the contact page.
