What this site is

A reference and walkthrough site covering one game: The Sinking City 2. Eleven sections, 88 pages, and a structure capped at three levels so nothing is more than two clicks from the home page.

It is not affiliated with Frogwares. It is not a news site, and it is not a review aggregator — it is a place to find the answer to "what is the code", "where is the crate" and "how does this system work" without scrolling through a list of twelve unrelated puzzles first.

How the guides are built

1. Official material first. Frogwares' own store listings and its FAQ and known-issues thread on Steam are the primary sources for anything about systems, requirements and support.
2. Editorial coverage second. Named outlets — GameSpew, GamesRadar, TechRaptor, nerdschalk, Neoseeker and others — for solutions and walkthrough detail, cited on the page that uses them.
3. Cross-checking. Solutions are compared across independent sources before publication, and marked with what that check was and when it happened.
4. Explicit gaps. Anything Frogwares has not published is labelled as not announced, not filled in with a guess.

Why the markers matter

Within days of this game's launch, several sites published ending names, mission names and system descriptions that cannot be traced to Frogwares or to any first-hand source. Some of it is now repeated widely enough to look like consensus.

The defence against that is boring and effective: say where each fact came from, date it, and be willing to write "not announced" on a page that would look more authoritative with an invented number on it. Our endings section is the clearest example — it is short because the underlying facts have not been published.

Corrections

If a code does not work in your build, a location has moved, or a patch has changed something, the contact page takes corrections. We re-check, update the page, change its verification date, and credit contributors who help.

Patches are the main reason a solution page goes stale, and Frogwares has been updating the game actively since release.

Advertising and independence
