The Sinking City 2 Trophy List: All 23 Trophies

Last verified · TSC2 Wiki

The Sinking City 2 has a 23-trophy list: 2 bronze, 13 silver, 7 gold and 1 platinum on PlayStation, and 23 achievements on Steam and Xbox. A large share are missable, there is no chapter select, and the platinum requires New Game Plus.

Cross-checkedConfirmed against several independent walkthroughs of the build 1.0 (launch build, August 2026) on August 22, 2026 against the published PlayStation and Steam trophy data. Codes and sequences in this game are fixed, not randomised per save. If a patch changes this, tell us on the contact page and we will re-check and re-date the page.

What the 23 break down into

The unusual thing about the list is its shape: only two bronze trophies against thirteen silver and seven gold. Most games front-load bronzes onto early tutorial moments; this one barely bothers.

The practical read is that almost nothing here unlocks by accident. That tells you the list is not built from small incidental unlocks. Almost everything in The Sinking City 2's trophy list is a chapter completion, a full collectible set, or a deliberate piece of optional content.

Deliberate omissionWe do not reprint the full trophy names and descriptions here: several are direct story spoilers, and the canonical lists are already published on PlayStation and Steam. What this page adds is the structure and the planning, which is what actually decides whether you get the platinum.

Why so much is missable

Two design decisions compound in TSC2. First, there is no chapter select — closed chapters stay closed. Second, several collectible categories are chapter-scoped rather than world-scoped, so missing one item can lock a set trophy for the entire run.

The counter-play is the per-chapter checklist, run before every point of no return.

Difficulty and trophies

Good news for anyone worried about a Sleep Demon run: difficulty is changeable at any time from the pause menu, and the trophy list is not built around a locked hardest-difficulty playthrough. You can lower difficulty for a fight that is going badly and raise it again afterwards.

Estimated time

The story runs roughly 8 to 12 hours in TSC2, and a completion-focused first run lands closer to 16. Adding Ex Oblivione Mode puts the platinum in the region of 20 hours — a figure reported by trophy sites rather than published by Frogwares, so treat it as a planning estimate.

Our platinum roadmap divides that time between the two runs.

Trophies on Steam and Xbox

Steam lists the same 23 as achievements, without PlayStation's bronze-to-platinum tiers, and the Xbox list matches. The platinum is a PlayStation-only concept; on the other platforms, "100%" simply means all 23.

Rarity data is worth a glance before you plan a run. On Steam, the achievements that stay rarest after launch week are almost always the collectible sets rather than the combat feats — which confirms what the chapter structure already implies: the hard part is attention, not skill.

Steam Cloud is supported, and the game has full controller support including DualSense features — with one caveat about Bluetooth that also affects achievement hunting sessions on PC.

If you want an achievement guide rather than a list, the ordering matters more than the names: work the collectible sets chapter by chapter on run one, leave the codices for Ex Oblivione Mode, and treat optional investigations as mandatory. That sequence is laid out in full on the platinum roadmap.

The Sinking City 2 FAQ

How many trophies does The Sinking City 2 have?

23 in total: 2 bronze, 13 silver, 7 gold and 1 platinum on PS5, and 23 achievements on Steam and Xbox.

Are there missable trophies in The Sinking City 2?

Yes, a lot of them, and there is no chapter select to recover from a miss. Use the per-chapter checklist.

Do I need New Game Plus for the platinum?

Yes. Ex Oblivione codices only exist in NG+, so 100% cannot be reached in a single playthrough.

Is there a hardest-difficulty trophy?

The list is not built around one, and difficulty can be changed at any time from the pause menu.
